Hi
I'm desperatd...3 weeks of trials ..I' ve controlled everything,ram drivers preferences i dont have kraked plugs.....
Without firewire connection DP5.1 goes great ... when I connet my Ultralite ........

It crashes every 15/20 minutes :cry:

Is there anyone who works fine with the same configuration?

I have Dp 5.1 Ultralite and MacBook (Not Pro) I experiensed a lot of crashes and I have never been able to really solve the problem, After a post I read on this forum I connected the power adapter and I think it runs a little better after that but it still crashes some times.
I also started to use my firewire 400 external disc for recording and playing projects on and after that I rarely experience any crash.

I haven't been running any huge projekts yet but it is really nice now I can work almost crashfree.

Otherwise it is important to check on the settings for hardware I always use a pretty high buffer setting.

I don't know if it is the Ultralite that causes crashes but it runns better after doing all this...

is very strange...i've followed your ideas ...but nothing after 15-20 minutes the audio stop and after one second crash....
I've also try to move away mas surround plugs ...but nothing to do

Yes :( it appears to be that way...
I am really disappointed with DP not that it is a really good program as long as it doesn't crash. But if the program is in a very bad "mood" there can be no musicproduction...

I hope that a update will come as soon as possible!

Yep now it is here, DP haven't crashed since I installed it.
I have not yet tested it so much though...
