Dp 4.61 and host buffer multiplier 4 works great

Dp 4.61 and host buffer multiplier 4 works great

Ok this is weird-after a suffering through a sluggish session w/ a HUGE amount of V.I"s I experimented with setting the host buffer multiplier at 4 and work priority at high-buffer at 256 and it ROKS! . No sputtering, Before I had trouble at 512- and even 1024. Weird- How can this be?
FYI -I have a G-5 quad. Is it because of the 4 processor MAc? Thanks for any input. ART

Hmm, I'll have to try that, being a die-hard 4.61 user myself.
