DP 5.1 crashes on a MacBook Pro running 10.4.8, very random

Post by nashbird »

Here's the deal, been running DP as a mixer, mostly..for the past two weeks. I put in 4+ hours a day on one of five song I'm mixing for a client. DP seems to quit in the middle of working, very randomly.
I've flushed undos and turned off all pertenent(sp) prefences, i.e.: beat detection, timestretch,etc...And the crashes just keep happening. Iguess, on average, about 3 mixing sessions in 4 will end in DP quitting "unexpectedly"
What can I do, oh learned ones?!?!
Is my intel processor evil, does my DAW hate me?
Please help me Obi-Wans, you dudes, and chicks, are my only hope! :?
