advice on connecting o/b fx to ADAT optical in - 828MkII

I have used all analogue connections and SPDIF on the MkII - I still have an Eclipse, an 81 and a 91 to connect in

How should I do this best with only the ADAT optical connection left on my 828MkII

I could use the Alesis AI3, but this entails sending into and returning from the fx units via analogue TRS rather than my preference to keep it digital

Can anyone advise of analog alternatives (I don't need the best ADDA for fx) or preferably keeping it digital using ADAT all the way through the ADAT send and return -

How about an ADAT <-> AES converter, like the Alesis AI4?
