I have a traverler with Logic 7.x and Battery 3 running on a Power Mac G4 Dual 1 Gig with 2 Gigs of Ram.
I use Battery as a plugin within Logic. I have tried but do not know how to map each "sound cell" (Battery 3) output to individual Logic channels. I know how to assign each cell an output (in Battery), but I think that I have to use the Bus or AUX in Logic to actually hear the audio output that is assigned, if it is assigned to a channel other than output 1/2 (Stereo)
Can someone who is familiar please give me a hand. I would gratly apprciate it.
You're right, you have to create AUX objects to access your individual battery outputs.
First plug battery as a 'multi channel' instrument. Then check the input setting of your AUX object(s) and choose the right battery output(s).
Thanks for the information. I am new to Logic, (I was a Pro tools user before Logic) so now I have to go and learn how to create AUX Objects and route the Battery out puts. If you have anymore tips on this, I will be very gateful to know them,
Try this: open battery as a stereo instrument, check battery's prefs (or settings...) and enable seperate outputs.
Then re-open battery as a multi-channel instrument.
Good luck.
I went into Battery's settings menu and changed the outputs from Stereo to indiviual lines 1-22. I went back into Logic, but Battery was still not available as a "multi instrument". Help!!
