M5 HTDM plug-in won't work in Pro Tools HD

Post by lush1 »

When I try to use the TDM M5 plug-in in Pro Tools I get a message that says:

"This plug-in could not be made active because this version of Pro Tools does not support HTDM plug-ins. If you cannot convert it to RTAS, please contact the manufacturer for an updated version".

I can use the RTAS version, but I think I should be able to run HTDM. The specs say it's supported. I'm running M5 version 1.2.3. in PT 7.1cs7 on a Pro Tools HD system under Mac OS 10.4.6 on a G5 1.6 single processor with 1.25 G of RAM.

Any ideas?

Thanks Laurence. I didn't realize that Digi had stopped using HTDM. I just went to v.7 recently. And yes, RTAS does work fine so I'll just use that. Curious though that Mach 5 still shows up in the TDM plug-in menu.

i think Digi will resupport it with Mach five V2 alongside cryogenic rehydration... perhaps they will get Walt Disney to introduce it to us !
