In all the docs, I see nothing that is worth risking this update for. I don't think I'll be trying to use a USB cable modem from Ireland anytime soon... but you never know. :) Nah, I'll let the others handle this one. thanks for the heads up.

Just having received my new macbookpro, it came with 10.4.6 so I upgraded right away. It seems to be working fine for me. There is also a firmware upgrade for MBP with it so it's a plus for me...

I've been following a thread on MacInTouch.com that is pointing to errors in floating point calculations. It is undecided if it is certain apps - or a problem with a way the algorhythm is called or just a fault in the OS itself.

For me - I'm holding off. The issue is alleged resolved in 10.4.9

i've been noticing a little strangeness with my airport extreme just losing my network periodically on 10.4.8...never experienced it before. i turn off the airport and turn it back on, and it magically finds/connects to the network again.
minor, but a bit unnerving.

Since I started this topic I'll chime in and state that I have zero problems with this update. I think that I'll stop at .9 though, I just can't get excited about Leopard.

Working here too. You really can't get excited about Leopard? As I recall, it seemed to have some pretty cool stuff.
