In all the docs, I see nothing that is worth risking this update for. I don't think I'll be trying to use a USB cable modem from Ireland anytime soon... but you never know.cuttime wrote:Big update week for Apple. Any brave souls out there?

I've been following a thread on MacInTouch.com that is pointing to errors in floating point calculations. It is undecided if it is certain apps - or a problem with a way the algorhythm is called or just a fault in the OS itself.
For me - I'm holding off. The issue is alleged resolved in 10.4.9

i've been noticing a little strangeness with my airport extreme just losing my network periodically on 10.4.8...never experienced it before. i turn off the airport and turn it back on, and it magically finds/connects to the network again.
