Oh yeah my bad! I have the Quad 2.5 G5 and it only has the PCI-express slots. I like the slots, but I am a little pissed that the Expert pak is less of a deal than the Ultra PAk which carries pretty much every UAD plug-in, as all of you may know the Expert PAK only has 5 and $750 voucher which is nice in a way I customize my card. I would of loved to at least had the option like the Ultra PAK if I paid the same price as the Ultra pak just give me the PCI-Express card instead of The PCI or even a bit more.

Maybe when they go 8-Core  )

Here is my question: Being somewhat of a weaker card, in order to offload or "print" tracks using DSP via the UAD can i simply select the track and use DP's "Freeze" function? Or do i have to manually route the track to another audio track and record it that way?

Also, is it true that BTD does not work with UAD plugs?

thanks, ill take my answer off the air.

Support at Universal is top notch. I would send them an email and introduce yourself before buying. It makes troubleshooting so much easier.
