Movie Offset *(*&#$&$!
Having trouble finding the answer, and motu has not returned my query: Working on a TV show, and have been ignoring the fact that my timeline is different from the quicktime video timecode, as I figured that the two-pop would help solve that discrepancy...mix stage would greatly prefer it to be the ...

Re: Blank Plug-In Windows - NI, East West
Hey James -- good question: as I'm toggling through now, it looks like it is stuff such as East West Gold, East West XP, NI Bosendorfer 290, Percussive Adventures 2, and Guitar Rig 2 are the main culprits in terms of things that I use all the time...I did notice, after your message, that FM7, B4 and...

Blank Plug-In Windows - NI, East West
Strange problem -- not sure if it began with dp6 or dp7, but currently running dp7.1 with system 10.5.8 (come to think of it, I believe it began when I upgraded to 10.5): when I launch any one of several of my plug-ins (Guitar Rig 2 [oddly, GR3 works fine] or Symphonic Orchestra [East West]), I get ...

I haven't experienced any other problems with the Mach 5-2, and have generally found it better to use than Mach 5-1. I figured the problem was with True Strike 2. I'm still hunting for an answer - Matt the MOTU guy was at West LA Music today (and every Wednesday), I just didn't have a chance to get ...

True Strike 2 Problems
Has anyone had issues using True Strike 2 for Mach 5-2? Now that it is all loaded up, everytime I select a preset, it prompts me that it cannot find the samples. When I direct it to the folder with the samples, it is really hit or miss as to which presets load up, and which do not. The performances ...

Re: 3/4 or 6/8?
It is definitely not a subjective thing...listen to where the downbeat is - it is either after every 3 beats or after every six. If the snare drum falls on the 4th beat, for example, chances are that you are in 6/8.Originally posted by ezack:

Re: What's the best way to make splits?
I don't know if I'm missing something, but DP 4.52 has a multi-bounce feature which is perfect for this application. After setting up all of the different tracks, and/or stems that you want to bounce, you can let dp do the work while you are out getting a latte. Perhaps this will help next time.

Apple Loops in DP 4.52
Although I have read that DP 4.52 imports Apple Loops, I have not been able to find any specific information on how to manipulate these tracks once imported. A Logic user that I work with showed me how, as with Garage Band, he can import an Apple Loop which will automatically adjust to the sequence ...
