I'm not sure...I haven't had to do that. Did you try resetting the 828 to factory defaults? Press setup and scroll to "Factory Defaults (must detach FW)"...also make sure Clock Source is set to Internal. Other than that, I'm outta ideas (and you probably did that anyway).

This may sound stupid, but there was no indication in your post...but did you reload the drivers?

That didn't work either. I tried something else also. I disabled the 1394 Network connection, that didn't work either. Still getting the blue screen of death.

WTF MOTU, I thought new drivers were supposed to be an improvement? As much as I love my 828mkii, this is getting a bit ridiculus.
