If DP6 has region based editing for MIDI ala Logic, i will crossgrade instead of upgrade to LS8.This is the primary reason that I will not go for DP, well a demo would be nice too!

Tried it out at my friends studio this past weekend, not worth it at that price.The Waves SSL plugs have more bang for the buck IMHO.If it makes someone happy and they get better mixes then it has served it purpose.

Yeah, i've been a longtime supporter/fan of Apple and its slowly coming to an end.The great news is that being cross platform is a bonus, but XP certainly feels better than it ever has.No mac/pc war is intended just that my opinion.QT 7 is having problems on XP too, so Apple is really irritating me.

This feature alone sent me to Logic Pro, i do lots of soft synth/MIDI and after trying DP out on a friends rig it drove bonkers.But the audio editing in DPis excellent an will buy the crossgrade soon as funds allow.

Been playing around with it for a few hours, so far seems to be alright nothing spectacular to report.PT LE 7.3.1cs, Logic Pro 7.2.3, Ableton Live 6.0.7 all good so far.YMMV and its always risky.
