Hi Chris I prefer the GT-33 by Groove Tubes http://www.groovetubes.com/product.cfm?Product_ID=1595 I test GT-33 and AKG 451B,the preamp is Presonus Digimax LT... the Gt-33 can get more warm sound and flexible... and AKG always need more power from yuor preamp... so you need check you equipment to al...
