You need to look closer at "Load" It's in the manual... The load window has a bunch of options, one of which is to load the sequence data - the sequences appear in a list at the top of the window - if there's only one then the list is pretty short. Select the sequence you want and whatever...

Got any Camel audio Plugs?

Check for that - if so remove them and test.

Guys - The keyboard shortcuts to open the tracks window will open the overview for whichever sequence is selected in the Chunks window. Unless I'm misreading the problem... If you hit Shift-T and get the wrong tracks, open chunks and see which sequence is selected. Does that help? It's fairly counte...

Thanks guys - we have Mach Five, and Kontakt...

We'll try them and let you know... the main thing is not to have to futz with file formats too much. Or at all..

You've been a great help - I really appreciate it.

Sorry if I seem obtuse, but can you really just drag, say, an AIF into MachFive? I thought it would only play its own format... I mean after conversion etc etc but we have sooooo much material as raw audio... Thanks JW PS AudioFinder might be the ticket - it might work to convert everything we have ...

NP Mike - your secret is safe with me... So, about a sampler... I guess the thing is to keep all this library stuff in AIF form and use Nano. I really like the Akai-like interface and the sound of the filters. Very useful for the things we are doing. But it has to be AIF. Do you know of any alternat...

LOL you guys are too fast - no sooner had I posted... the page loaded and my answer was there.

In about 10 seconds. Which is too slow for you guys.

Thanks so much! Looks very promising.

Cool - I'll look at it. Meanwhile laziness dictates I ask the following:

You can audition the sounds on a timeline with waveforms and easy cueing?

Quick n Dirty Samples in DP

Hi Guys - Here's a little creative procedure that one of my clients uses and I'd like to facilitate it for him. Basically we have a bunch of short bits of music or audio, combinations and mixes of various bits and components of previous and current projects. They live on a drive on his DP5 computer....

Topic: Transferring SD2 created in ProtoolsHD to DP5 causes crash?

This is a bug for sure - I've had the same problem. My solution was to export .aif files from PT and re-import them to DP. If DP had created SD2 files, and Pro Tools had so much as referenced the files, not changed or created or consolidated or anything, those files became instant crash food for DP....

Can anyone enlighten me as to the possible upside to this odd and baffling feature?

And, since it's so easy to record the wrong bit depth, why in the world you can't just turn it off and make your system 24-bit only?

What's the point of it?

Confused over here...

I'm on 5.11 mainly because of my #1 client not wanting to "upgrade". 5.12 was a real horroshow for me - especially in DAE mode. I spent many hours just cataloging the issues. Audiosuite plug-ins disappearing. The timestamp thing. Also, dragging chunks would sometimes crash my whole system ...
