Thanks Shooshie -
I was aware of the zoom feature but never could deal with it too well - guess I need to invest the time and practice - thanks for all the tips - I'll print them out and try them!
Cheers!

Basically, the benefit of this is to move around quickly. I don't compose sequentially. I'm constantly moving around, changing durations, velocity, individual notes, start and end times....and I'm doing this all over the place so I need to be able to move around freely and quickly and these scroll b...

OK - you know how you have the scroll bars to move back and forth and up and down inside the window to view the notes that are on your timeline? Panning is the same thing but it would be where you can scroll without the scroll bars and move as far as you want by holding down a key and clicking and d...

Hi - thanks for your time. I wasn't refering to zooming....just panning...as though you had a photograph under a border and you can drag the photo around under the border and view any part you wanted....except in this case, it's panning (dragging) the view of the notes around within the window. It's...

Moving/panning in the notation window?
OK, ok, I give up - I've searched but cannot find a simple way to pan around my notation window in DP. I waste SO much time hitting those little + and - buttons and stretching out the windows to see a particular area of my composition. Those Photoshop users will know what I'm refering to when you si...

After Upgrading to OS 10.4.6, DP crashed and Mach 5.....
Hey guys, I installed OS 10.4.6 on a G4 dual 1.25 Ghz machine with 1.75 GB RAM. I had DP 5.0 and Mach 5 running fine. After the OS installation, I upgraded DP to 5.1 and Mach 5 to 1.2.3. I then opened DP and tried to open a past project and it crashed as soon as it loaded....every time. I noticed if...

Anyone answer a question about Melodyne?
Hey guys, I was referred by one of you to Melodyne uno. I'm trying to get an answer as to whether or not I can take a stereo sound byte, call it into Melodyne uno and change the pitch, then export/save the modified soundbyte. I've seen the demo on this software and it's amazing...but I don't need th...

No doubt - I watched the Introduction video for this and it blew me away...my gosh, what you can do...I don't trust anyone to be able to sing on key anymore! : ) This is on my list. But one question - if the version you're talking about has 8 tracks....what does that mean?...Can I not just bring in ...

Audio clip is garbled when put into a Song
Hey guys,
Here's the deal... I create sequence to which I have added some audio clips ...then I place this sequence into a song...when I play the song, the audio clip sounds garbled. What's up?
Thanks,
Brian

Pitch change on Audio clips
Hey all, I have tried to change the pitch by defining either the number of steps or the key to be changed in both the TRANSPOSE function and the SPECTRAL EFFECTS function but all I end up with when I play back the audio clip is a garbled representation of what the clip originally was. I REALLY need ...

DP load time - around a minute? Is this normal?
Hey guys, I've used DP for a while but always wondered...should it take so long to load? The files load slowly as well. I am in the graphics industry so Photoshop and other related programs can take about 5-7 at the most seconds but DP is always painfully slow. It makes it tough when it crashes or l...
