I am still a DP user professionally and MW Gate is only a DP plugin, so it seems the most logical place to ask my question (in lieu of the old DP General Discussion forum) would be under DP usage/tips? I'm not using DP as much these days and I have yet to find a gate I like as much as MW gate, particularly with regards to the variable look-ahead. Does anyone here know of a similar gate?

I wish they included it in the MasterWorks Collection!

Any ideas why I sometimes lose MIDI? The light on my 828mk2 still shows MIDI activity, but the MIDI monitor shows nothing. This happens somewhat regularly and the only fix seems to be quitting and restarting DP.

BTW, this happened before the 7.2 update as well.

I found a solution, in case anyone in the future is having this problem: According to what I found out from a Logic forum post, someone was having similar problems and MOTU instructed them to go into the MOTU Audio Setup dialog and change the Optical Output to None, then to ADAT, then back to None ...

Any idea why DP6 will not allow me to select "Burn Audio CD" in the Bounce to Disk menu? The manual doesn't seem to say anything about certain conditions. For me, that and "Audio CD Disk Image" are both grayed out. Thanks in advance!

My MIDI IN light is responding on my 828mkII, but the MIDI monitor is dormant in DP. Everything looks right in Audio-MIDI setup. It doesn't seem to respond with Multirecord on or off. MIDI Keys in DP works. Also, everything was working just fine a few nights ago. Any ideas?

I would like to use my MIDI sustain pedal to play the kick drum in Model12. Is this possible? Logic has a way to do this with something called "Transformer" which will take a MIDI Controller and assign it to a Note...but I can't find anything in the DP manual like this. Any ideas? Thanks!!!
