thanks guys - that did the trick (updated to 64 bit uad drivers / code). Don't know if its my imagination, but some of my mixes sound different too. one adjective might be 'effortless'. I guess that's 384 dB of dynamic range at work.

Thanks! so a new device would have a second instance of cue mix running, but within DP, all the i/o would be available. The second question still remains ... can I, in cue mix, mix channels together and record the mixed sum in DP?
