also try update_prebinding using terminal along with fixing permissions

i also had similar MIDI stuck notes and log jamming i traced it to dp transmit sync in dp's pref. it was sending sync to my carnaval. i turned it off/ set to none and all is well.

try that before you stop using the MIDI gear you removed.

rec MIDI as audio can send back to and from adats and it stays accurate due to sync cable with adats and pci 324 card.

i found the problem to be the file was corrupted. to save i used the save a copy as dialog = replace, to save the file/song. i made a new file template, made a copy of that, and use the copy to work from when i start a new song. problem all gone. it happened to three of my file/songs before i figure...

i use dp 4.52 and motu mtp/av usb with two ensoniq keyboards, carnaval, roland jv1080, 2 adats, audio trks recorded thru 2408 mk1. no timing problems, perfect sync.sample accurate, great MIDI editing.

make sure transmit sync to is off otherwise you will get MIDI loop.
