Thanks for your input, Mike! Seems like DP is not the right tool for the job. Best to you!

Re: Best CD making Program
I don't see anyone in this thread talking about DP's built in CD mastering and burning. Has anyone used it successfully? I'm currently trying to burn a CD from a project file (11 tracks, 56 minutes; DP 11.34, Apple USB Superdrive, MacOS 14.7.4) and am encountering a DP error at the final stage of bu...

How to measure headroom?
Hi, this seems like real basic information but I can't seem to find it: The meters in DP go to +6. For example, the MW Limiter. When I'm measuring headroom, do I measure from +6 or from 0? That is, if I want 6db of headroom, should the meter peak at 0 or at -6? I've been recording and mixing for yea...

Re: Soundbite help: How to change a soundbite length without preserving pitch
Good news! After playing around with some apps, I found that Garageband does exactly what I was looking for. You just go to the "Region" info for the soundbite in question, check "Follow Tempo & Pitch," and then when you adjust the tempo for the project, the pitch and tempo o...

Re: Soundbite help: How to change a soundbite length without preserving pitch
Thank you Jon and Mike, I'll definitely check out what you recommended. This is all so interesting to me because as I recall from my early days with digital audio (mid-90s) including DP, it was the exact opposite. You needed special apps to KEEP the pitch when you slowed or sped up the tempo. So fas...

Soundbite help: How to change a soundbite length without preserving pitch
I feel like I should have been able to figure this out by now but after lots of searching the manual and googling, I can't find anything that's been able to help me. When I stretch a soundbite to a different length, it maintains the pitch. I understand the value of this feature. But is there a way t...

DP11 and UVI Workstation VST plug-in issue
Hi, I'm new to this community but wanted to share a solution to a problem that was driving me crazy: how to get DP 11 to recognize the UVI Workstation VST plug-in. Some background: I was running DP 10 on an older MacBook Pro and created several projects with virtual instruments from MOTU's free virt...
