Re: Motu Interfaces rack ears

Ok thanks. I think I will just CAD it up and have it made. If it works then I will post the CAD file in the forum for public use. Most of the current interfaces have the same style of rack ears so I think it will be helpful for people in a pinch or buying units from ebay without rack ears. A full se...

Motu Interfaces rack ears

Hi!

One of my rack ears got lost for my 828mk2 and I was wondering if anyone went so far as to create a CAD file of the typical rack ears. I want to send it to the local metal workshop to make.

I put in a request to MOTU but still waiting to hear back from them.

Thanks!

Controlling a Yamaha DM1000 from a DP Console using Sysex

Hi! I want to control my DM1000 from a DP console or in general how to use sysex to control a fader from a DP console or from another MIDI controller. This SOS article has greatly inspired me to see if this is possible: https://www.soundonsound.com/techniques/future-proofing-digital-performer-projec...

Re: Crossfading soundbites- Automatic?

I can do that too but it has a blue outline which means it cannot be calculated (doesn't work). So what you hear is that the second soundbite does not crossfade with the first one it just starts playing all of a sudden when the wiper gets to it. This only happens to me when the soundbites are untrim...

Re: Crossfading soundbites- Automatic?

Yes I know the separate track fade too. I just need to make things more efficient for this particular project with alot of soundbites with precise fades and this would help a lot if I didn't need to trim each one just to apply a crossfade. I just want to make sure I'm not overlooking anything before...

Crossfading soundbites- Automatic?

Hello! I have been a long time DP owner (DP4!) but am coming back to DP 9.52 after a long time with PT and am just getting used to the tiny details. I have a question about crossfades. When you drag 2 soundbites to the sequence window, overlap them (by say, 5 seconds) and crossfade within 5 seconds ...
