I am trying to do the same thing although an ASUS z390A and a 16A. On the EX3 the Thunderbolt 2 port is actually mini DisplayPort you need to use a tbolt 3 to 2 adaptor on the tbolt 3 port. Another issue I am having all of a sudden is that Direct monitoring in cubase pro 10 is not working. I get sound with the box unchecked and no sound with the box checked. It happened when i was trying to figure out the issue above when i was trying different driver versions. Any Thoughts.
