You can exclude the "mirroring" item in the menu bar in System setup so you don't have to be irritated by it. Nevertheless, the way 15.2 accommodates displays is unquestionably buggy, especially with HDMI connections. Hopefully, Apple will address this soon.

The issue with 1248, and all of the new AVB interfaces is that they DO NOT support direct hardware patch thru. This is a near deal breaker for me. I only discovered this, like you, after I purchased. The fix has to be coded into Digital Performer to support it. Until that happens you'll have to jump...

James, I think you misunderstood me. What I intended to point out was that if I have to purchase all new interfaces I'll look for hardware that fits my needs.
