I currently host all of my sample libraries on my Hard Drive and thinking of switching and hosting them on an external drive. Does it actually make that much of a difference on your CPU or is it hardly noticeable and not really worth doing?

32bit to 64bit Bridge
Can anyone recommend a good, stable 32bit to 64bit bridge? I currently use jBridge, however on Mac it isn't the most stable to run a 32bit vst in DP 64 bit. jBridge randomly shuts down at times forcing me to reload the plugin. I have Bidule but I don't want to host the plugin through Bidule. Suggest...

Re: Bidule
Can you host Kontakt instruments in VE Pro, such as Cinematic Strings 2, and still have the GUI showing? Or does VE Pro host instances of Kontakt similar to how Bidule works?

Re: Bidule
I downloaded the trial version last week which gives full features and usage until December 15th. I must say I'm very impressed with it so far. I've got my entire orchestra hosted in Bidule and running into DP via ReWire. As far as system efficiency, I don't think it does anything different, althoug...

Bidule
Excuse me if this has been covered in the past. I'm thinking of getting Bidule since many swear by it. I'd like some info from users of it. 1) Is there a benefit to using it on a single machine or is it primarily used for a second slave computer? 2) what are the benefits to hosting virtual instrumen...

Re: Tempo and Click Conflict
I actually figured out what happened. When I added the tempo change, I didn't realize it was set to click pattern and not beat pattern. In theory it was at the proper tempo, it was the pattern I was hearing. Changed it to beat pattern and all is good.

Tempo and Click Conflict
I've mapped out my tempos and meter changes and markers etc and I have the Conductor track selected in the transport window. However, the click is following tempos that seem to be linked in the Tempo Slider option in the transport window which I haven't touched. How do I make it so the click follows...

Re: DP7 with Mavericks
Can I ask what plugins and instruments you are using. I want to make sure that Kontakt 5 and Omnisphere run fine.

DP7 with Mavericks
As the other thread seems more for DP 8, I wanted to get feedback to see if anyone is running DP7 under Mavericks (if any). I do know one person said they had no issues so far. Anyone else?
