Re: Chunks In Alphabetical Order

Additionally.... it would be GREAT to be able to highlight a group of the Chunk Names and move them all together.

Re: Chunks In Alphabetical Order

Thanks for your response mhschmieder. You're right .... I was trying to get automatic alphabetization by clicking on the 'Name' header. Nothing happened. I think this is something that DP should look at. I'm using DP 6 and the reason that this would work for me is... I have more than 30 songs in my ...

Chunks In Alphabetical Order

I use DP 6 in my home studio and plan to upgrade to DP7 soon. However, I've just started using DP6 on my old faithful PowerBook G4 laptop for a live gig with a singer. I took on the gig from another musician who was working with 2 Motif ES 6. He was able to load a song on o e while the other was pla...

Re: DP 6.03 ( and 7.12 ) crashes after 4/5 hrs of work.

I have not had any crashes when not using DP. However, I removed and replaced my DIMMS and I've discovered that one of them is bad.... whenever I put that one in my program crashes. I think I've found the problem. I'm watching it closely. My DP has been running slightly in the red, but even with tha...

Re: DP 6.03 ( and 7.12 ) crashes after 4/5 hrs of work.

Hey James, Thanks for responding. I posted the info regarding the removal of Spotlight which was separate from Sestopiano. It just happens that I'm experiencing the same problem. I'm running DP 6.03 and my crashing is happening relatively fast. A few minutes after disabling Spotlight I had a few cra...

Re: Quickscribe Notation

Thank you Guys very much for your responses. I have been using QuickScribe as my skill in notation are not very good and it works well for me using MIDI to do charts for my horn section. I will continue to play with it to see if I can make it do those small changes. Meanwhile I will look into a stan...

Quickscribe Notation

Hope someone can help. I wrote horn parts using DP6 for a band that uses Trumpet, Alto Sax and Trombone. The song is written in the key of 'A'. The transpose means that the Trumpet is in the key of B, the Trombone is in the key of A and the Alto should be in F #. However, Quickscribe writes it as Gb...

Importing Wave Files

Thanks guys.

Everything has been working fine so far but I'll look into increasing the memory.

Also all of the files that I bring from the Pro Tools studio do not have that same problem. That is the interesting thing.

Some work fine and others are slow to load and slow to save.

Wave Files and DP5.13

I have the same problem.

Whenever I open the song I have to wait for the Wave files to load and it does take long to react.

I was looking for help for this problem for a while.

I hope someone can help.

Missing Files

Thank you for your reply.

I have been viewing the files by name.

I done a find using Spotlight and and the hard disks directory.

I would think that if it was trashed, it would show up in the Trash. But it is not there.

This has me very nervous.
