@arth: I don't see the defense for MOTU since they ship a product with bad Windows drivers. As a customer should I really care whether it's difficult for them to write/fix such drivers or not? exactly. no bugfixes. adat not showing problem perists throughout all versions. i have it, too. workaround: open the audio console, switch off adat, switch it back on. hit "ok". now your adat ports show up in windows and/or your asio based audio host application.

On my Dell Dimension 9100 with a Pentium D 830 the 3.6.7.0 drivers gave random bluescreens. Had to go back to 3.6.6.0 and now it seems stable.

My personal view and experience after 1 year of 828mkII with Firewire and Windows: Don't go there. The drivers have issues that aren't resolved (http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7794) and the support isn't what you would expect.
