Issue with chinks/sequences not working
Hi all I'm having an issue with chunks and new sequences. In the chunks window, I duplicated my current sequence as I want to do a remix but keep all the tracks, automation and processing in place. The sequence copies over, however when I click on the mixer board form sequence window, it jumps back ...

Re: New to DP, how do I multi-bounce stems like I did in Log
Hi all I'm going to jump on this thread. In my current project, I want to bounce down individual tracks to be used in remixes. Several vocal tracks, percussion tracks etc. All with EQ, compression and some FX. In my mix they are all routed to sub-masters, ALL MUSIC, ALL VOX, etc. Then to the 2 bus. ...

Re: Corrupted project?!!
Thanks. I will look in to it some more.
You are right, most of the time, I have one sequence, then mix therein. The only time I've opened up another sequence was to do a 'mastering' of the stereo bounce with its own mix bus etc.
Regards, Gareth

Re: Corrupted project?!!
Thank you all very much for the replies. I repaired disk permissions, though, the only permissions that were askew were a few concerned with printer drivers, I think this is why I stopped doing it, because I never saw anything 'important' in the report. Upgraded to 10.9.5 too. I finished the mix wit...

Re: Corrupted project?!!
OK. After a head full of new grey hairs and trying everything I could think of, it occurred to me to delete all automation from the master bus as this seemed to be where the issue was. For now. it works! But it does make me wonder why this would happen? I was automating Izotope Imager for chorus sec...

Re: Corrupted project?!!
Possible solutions: Upgrade to DP 9, delete DP 8. Delete all plugins, reinstall. Upgrade OSX? Repair disk permissions? (not sure how this one works as never done it.)

Corrupted project?!!
Hi all I'm in a disturbing situation. Large project I am working on has developed a serious glitch. At one point, I skipped back to the beginning of the track and start to play, there is a loud 'click' all the busses start to show audio passing on their faders, the master bus either reds out, or sho...

Re: Lots of noise/hiss on master bus
Thanks for the replies guys. Yes, with the Waves 1176 there is an 'analog' switch that introduces a tonne of noise, go figure. With the Soundtoys Radiator, just looks like it's a hot, noisy plugin.

Re: Lots of noise/hiss on master bus
OK, I've tracked it down to the Soundtoys Little Radiator plugin in my 'samba rim' track. I'm not sure if the track was a sample or recorded, I can't hear any inherent noise on the track when the plug is bypassed, but when its on, loads, and mainly it was the points where I stripped the silence, vol...

Lots of noise/hiss on master bus
Greetings all I'm running a pretty large project, 50 odd busses going to FX, side chains, sub masters etc. There is a huge amount of audible hiss on the master bus, even when nothing is playing, on the master fader and any analytics plugin, I can see a high nose floor, when I hit play, the hiss has ...

Dreaded soundbite sausage...!
Greetings everyone....
As the title says, dreaded soundbite sausage, 90% of my soundbites in a very large project have turned in to solid bars. They play fine, but there is no waveform?!
Does anyone have any insight in to this..
Many thanks...
Merry xmas, ho ho ho, etc.

Re: Clicking, popping, no output on Master bus!?
Hi Thank you very much for the reply. Mac Book pro 2012, i7, 2.8Ghz, 16GB RAM, SSD. Buffer is set to 2048, RME FF800. The project is at the absolute limit of my specs but I think this was something else, possibly when I bypassed FabFilter Pro L on mix bus, the audio no longer bussed correctly after ...
