Hi all I'm going to jump on this thread. In my current project, I want to bounce down individual tracks to be used in remixes. Several vocal tracks, percussion tracks etc. All with EQ, compression and some FX. In my mix they are all routed to sub-masters, ALL MUSIC, ALL VOX, etc. Then to the 2 bus. ...

You are right, most of the time, I have one sequence, then mix therein. The only time I've opened up another sequence was to do a 'mastering' of the stereo bounce with its own mix bus etc.

OK. After a head full of new grey hairs and trying everything I could think of, it occurred to me to delete all automation from the master bus as this seemed to be where the issue was. For now. it works! But it does make me wonder why this would happen? I was automating Izotope Imager for chorus sec...

Possible solutions: Upgrade to DP 9, delete DP 8. Delete all plugins, reinstall. Upgrade OSX? Repair disk permissions? (not sure how this one works as never done it.)

Thanks for the replies guys. Yes, with the Waves 1176 there is an 'analog' switch that introduces a tonne of noise, go figure. With the Soundtoys Radiator, just looks like it's a hot, noisy plugin.

As the title says, dreaded soundbite sausage, 90% of my soundbites in a very large project have turned in to solid bars. They play fine, but there is no waveform?!
