FOUND THE SOLUTION! But I don't know the cause.

Motu number 2 changed its optical input to ADAT, causing there to be additional inputs, so my third motu's input channel numbers weren't lining up anymore.

While playing an instrument through an armed track in logic I get a digital distortion that creeps in at random. Sometimes its just there at start up and initial arming.
