fixed the problem. I had the MIDI Express XT usb cable plugged int to a multi usb hub. I moved it to a usb port connected straight to the mother board. problem solved. Computer shuts down normally now.

i have recently upgraded my dedicated cpu to Win. 7; Nuendo 5. i have the 2408mk3 and 24 i/o up and running with the new drivers, BUT, even with the new MIDI Express XT Win 7 drivers, EVERY TIME I TRY TO SHUT OFF THE COMPUTER, it will blue screen and re-boot and ask to reboot in "safe mode.&quo...
