This isn't really a solution for your direct problem, but I don't think the Cue Mix effects work when you run the clock above 48k. At least that's what I've found while doing research on the units.

Do all of the latest interfaces have the same quality of preamps and converters? I'm considering a 4pre or ultralite, but if the 828mk3 hybrid is better quality pres/convertors, I'll spring for that.

I'm interested in possibly chaining an 8pre and an Ultralite MK3, but my question is, will I be able to use the Ultralite as my "Main" interface, and monitor the inputs of the 8pre through the headphone out on the Ultralite, or does each unit only monitor it's own inputs, monitoring throug...

Are there any differences between the mk2 and mk3 units? (in regards to features/preamps)

New to the forum here. I've owned an 8pre for a few years norm and I'm pretty happy with it. I'm wondering if adding an 828mk3 hybrid will improve my sound any. Are the preamps and convertors better in the mk3 units? I think my 8pre is equivalent to the mk2. Not 100% sure about that though.
