Re: Can't install Windows 7 - 64 424 driver - Help needed
Just an update. I am halfway through my first ProTools 9 project on this machine. All is working well so far...except I can't get my M-Audio DIO 2496 card working - no surprise as it is now a 'Legacy' card and the Delta series driver is not explicitly for this card. All panels show up well, screen m...

Re: Can't install Windows 7 - 64 424 driver - Help needed
Problem solved...a helpful call to Brian at MOTU clued me in that in Win 7 you need to manually extract the zipped files. Even though it shows the contents, the files are not properly extracted until the folder is selected and 'extract' is selected ....my ignorant mistake...all is well, the 2408s ar...

Re: Can't install Windows 7 - 64 424 driver - Help needed
Thanks folks - you will have to talk Win 7 baby talk to me...I have a total of 3 hours experience with this new OS. I did not purchase or install any antivirus, or anything else - this is a stock install on a new drive to dual boot my primary studio machine. Normally runs XP and Sonar.... For grins ...

Can't install Windows 7 - 64 424 driver - Help needed
Have a brand new drive with Windows 7 64 bit installed nice and fresh. Tring to install the MOTU 424PCI driver off the MOTU download page. The Windows installer does not recognize the setup program as a valid install program and requests I check with the vendor. Ultimately trying to install ProTools...

Re: How to resize Cuemix in Windows XP
Nevermind....finally got it...man, it is a REALLY small area
you can grab...and the cursor does not change....and it did some
wierd things (like stopping Sonar audio engine).....but I got
it resized and saved as a preset...so hopefully I'll never have to
do it again...

Re: How to resize Cuemix in Windows XP
I DO see a slightly discolored triangle in the bottom right corner.... but absolutely NO mouse activity in the area...no change in pointer, no effect of a click...absolutely nothing. This would be the typical Mac spot for resizing...but on Windows it seems to have no effect. Any other ideas? All I r...

2408MKII, Sonar and 24 bit?
Just got a 2408 MKII to go with my MKIII and 424 card. Trying to get the 2 to work together with Sonar at 24 bit. Sonar seems to not work with the MKII at 24 bit. The MOTU Control panel only shows the 2408 MKIII and 2408 (not MKII). MOTU Tech support has been no help...does not respond to Tech reque...

anyone using 2-2408's with a Tascam DM3200?
IS anyone succesfully using 2 - 2408's with a Tascam DM3200 with one 2408 doing I/O through the built in TDIF's and the second 2408 using the onboard ADAT's and 2 ADAT expansion cards? If so, how are you doing the clocking of the system? I have been trying to get this to work for a couple of weeks w...
