828mk2 CueMix DSP no Input tab?
Hi, I just fired up my 828mk2 at home after quite some while (and after installing Win10 meanwhile, therefor latest Drivers suite is installed too). I may be confused because I also have a 828mk3 at the rehearsal room, but when I start CueMix FX with the mk2, I get CueMix DSP instead, and for the li...

Re: Controlling Cuemix FX and outputpairs?
I'm using exactly this. Though each bus has to be assigned a out-pair. With the 828mk3 you can have 5, since phones is accessible as separate out. mk2 only 4 busses. And it doesn't eat any cpu here...

Re: Motu 828mkIII output level, +4dBu vs -10dBV
it will move all volumes, that's right... but still, that Volume only does impact the inputs within CueMix, not whats coming from the computer... Problem here obviously is, that I have a Mix of signals from Computer and from inputs

Re: Motu 828mkIII output level, +4dBu vs -10dBV
ok, I played around with it a bit and found this: The output control, that CueMix has for each output pair, only influences the mix that you make *within* Cuemix. So what I can control is how loud each of the INs is on a specific out. What I *can't* control, is the level that comes from the PC. Our ...

Re: Motu 828mkIII output level, +4dBu vs -10dBV
I have created mixes in CueMix, that's the whole deal of the device why I use it for InEar: I can create 4/5 different mixes (mk2/mk3). However, I couldn't find a output control per output pair in CueMix besides the Monitor control (that I don't use)

Motu 828mkIII output level, +4dBu vs -10dBV
Hi, I'm using a 828mk3 for InEar monitoring, and as output for Loops and stuff from R.e.a.p.e.r. Lately I had the first gig with the unit (before I had a 828mkII), and the mixer-guy found my levels from the 828mk3 way too hot (given, he didn't find the -20db pad buttons on the desk new to him ;)). S...

Re: Controlling Cuemix FX and outputpairs?
What interface? I don't have it in front of me to check for absolutely sure, but with my 828mk3 you have to work with output pairs (no mono) if you're working in CueMix FX. You can use mix buses and pan hard left/right to get mono mixes to the individual outputs. As far as the remote control of eff...

Re: 828 mk2 CueMix possibilities
now look at this... two years later, and I'm still on the same problem ;) Meanwhile we use Reaper for the backings, but that doesn't make a difference. I now have the 828mk2, and since I wasn't able to get 5 different mixes (for five musicians), and somewhere I read that I can have 8 mix busses with...

Re: 828 mk2 CueMix possibilities
yup, makes sense... I forgot that the main out is separate from 1-8. Guess I should wait until I hold it in my hands, before asking eager questions

Re: 828 mk2 CueMix possibilities
hm, probably I could send the loops and the click to the individual mixes, will have to try that... but how do I get the loops alone to the FOH? All outs are used by mixes, and I can't use the old USB device at the same time as the Motu (the old ASIO problem)

828 mk2 CueMix possibilities
Hi, I just got me a used 828mk2. I plan to "abuse" it for a specific use, having In-Ear Mixes on Stage. Recording will only be occasionally done with it. We have 5 members in the Band, and as much as possible should have their own mix done in CueMix. Since the 828 can only have 4 mixes, I'...
