Re: Is it possible to disable an instrument track?
Okay, ask a stupid question............ wait, let me check......... nope, for once, I think I actually worded it right. On page 79 the manual mentions how to disable an audio track. Free RAM
I am in the process of setting up my production suite and after installing the RAM that I bought, I am left with 6 1Gb DIMMs. Not much, I know, but if anyone needs them, they are yours. Simply PM me with your address and I'll send them out. I only have a proper shipping container for all of them at ...

Re: Almost there............
Acoustic panels were DIY. 1"x2" frames with fabric backing, heavier fabric, and 2 2'x4' panels of Auralex acoustic insulation. So each panel has 4" of acoustic insulation. There are also a couple of cylindrical bass traps in each corner. So far, I'm pleased with the results. Very anxi...

I'm quite excited to be a functioning member of this community. Have spent the last couple months in the acquisition phase. I'm now partway through the build/setup phase. Here are some photo updates. Heat sink......don't know if I spelled"sink"right for this context. Same thing happened to me years ago and that was the culprit. Took WEEKS to diagnose. Would only crash if I worked long enough for it to heat up sufficiently.

WOW.............I don't know whether I should feel important or run away. I am amazed at the level of vitriol in your response. I had taken you for one of the old guard in this forum, and I mean that in the most respectful tone possible. Perhaps I haven't read enough. First off, someone corrected me...

OK, here's my 2 c**** OK, this is now getting ridiculous - all I did was type c**** ...... as in 'dollars and c****' :shake: (OK being serious now) I can't seem to pin myself down to a fixed, generalized viewpoint which I feel is 'correct' - because I don't feel there can be a viewpoint or solution...
