Conductor track disappeared! - RESOLVED
Hi all I'm on DP11.31. I'm aware that you can't (accidentally or intentionally) delete a conductor track. However mine has disappeared. There's NOTHING in my "Search" window. I do use view filters, and have selected "Show All tracks", but still nothing. I guess there's a chance i...

Re: Sustain pedals
Yes it's in SWITCH mode. Like I said - it works fine on an external electric piano so I suspect it's an NI Controller Editor setting. (I have the S-88 Mk1)...

Re: Sustain pedals
Thanks for all your advice. I took the lazy approach and bought the Roland DP-10. Just plugged it in. It works fine on my (external) Yamaha electric piano. However when I plug it into my NI S-88 and try to control Kontakt 7 pianos, there's no response. I updated Controller Editor. Kontakt 7 is updat...

Re: Sustain pedals
Thanks! And it's not overly sensitive right? I.e. it only sends CC64 when you ACTUALLY depress it, right?

Sustain pedals
I've been using a basic Yamaha (electric piano) sustain pedal for years in my DAW setup. However it's highly over-sensitive, to the point where even if my foot touches the floor near it, it will trigger the pedal to send CC64 sustain commands. As you can imagine this creates a lot of annoying MIDI c...

Pops and stuttering - DP triggering CSS in VEPro 7
I'm running Cinematic Studio Strings inside Kontakt 7, hosted by VEPro 7 on a 2018 Mac mini. It's triggered over ethernet from VEPro plugin hosted in Digital Performer 11. All software is fully updated. My Mac mini is a 6-core, running OS Ventura. DP is on an M2 Mac Studio (maxed-out). I'm getting b...

Re: bus multiple tracks at the same time?
I'm reviving this thread 10 years later! I was just trying to find a way to mass-assign Sends from audio tracks to the same Bus. I couldn't find anything in the DP 11 manual to this effect. Is it still not possible? (I was hoping that grouping the tracks then mass-assigning a send would work, just a...

Re: View filters and track folders
I just figured out a good workaround for this. I'm sure many do this already but it's new to me. Any further comments or suggestions welcomed: 1). Select whichever tracks (in Track Window) that you want to see. MIDI, Audio, Master, Verbs, etc. 2). Shift-Select all those tracks. Hit shift-M to open M...

Re: View filters and track folders
Yes there is however the various View filter options seem to just reset the previous one: I.e. say you choose "View only soundbites and notes", then choose "View Audio tracks", the latter command will reset the first command. Unless I'm mistaken, there doesn't seem to be a way to...

View filters and track folders
I'm trying to program some view filters in order to quickly jump between viewing different track types. Does anyone know if there's a way (in DP, or via a KB Maestro macro perhaps) to show only MIDI tracks which are assigned to an ENABLED VI or VEPro plugin. This way I can view only the MIDI tracks ...

Re: Audio vs Aux tracks in template
Thanks Bayswater. Wow I didn't realize AUX tracks were more taxing than audio, but your theory about a "background mixer" makes sense. Do you happen to have a link to the previous discussion on this topic? (I tried searching...). With this in mind, if I had say 500 stereo audio tracks whic...

Audio vs Aux tracks in template
Does anyone know if Audio tracks use up more resources in DP11 than Aux tracks? I have a large template in DP11.31 running many orchestral libraries, synths VIs and video. I'm running a maxed-out MAC Studio (M2 Ultra). I run a lot of VIs within DP but also have VEPro7 running on the same machine and...

Re: DP Gripes, and things that have (almost) pushed me to Cubase
Hi Michael. Thanks for your research on Mixer window issues. I'm not sure if I've quite grasped all that you're describing above, but you're obviously on top of it! To summarize my gripes / suggestion would be the following. I think the functions should work the same whether or not Mixer is in conso...
