DP7 cannot find my Mboxpro 3 I/O. Help?
it's been a while since i posted, because pretty much everything has been running smoothly. however, after doing a new install of my OS, i loaded up DP7, and no matter what i do, it does not see my Mboxpro 3. none if it's I/O shows up in DP7. DP7 also seems to be the only program that is having trou...

Re: Timecode wandering and other problems
yeah thanks i figured out the auto-rewind problem. but now i have another problem. when i said all the OMF audio synced with the QT timecode? I was wrong. The QT audio that came with the movie syncs fine, but the OMF audio is early, and I'm not exactly sure how to go about getting it to sync. There ...

Timecode wandering and other problems
Greetings, I am doing a little bit of post for a friend's short movie. I got my DP project set up with the film and have imported the OMF. The timecode of the DP project matches the Timecode burn of the quicktime, and all sound files from the OMF are in sync with all of it. But while working i notic...

Re: Transfering DP projects to PT sessions?
I have to do this too. What I do is merge all the soundbites from measure 1 to the end of the song, and then export all the tracks to a folder that I can copy to another hard drive. I also make a Standard MIDI file for tempo etc. I'm not worried about plug ins cause I'm not mixing so the raw audio ...

Transfering DP projects to PT sessions?
I have a few DP projects that I have to transfer to Pro tools.
What is the best way to transfer these files while keep as much as possible (tempo changes, comments, etc)?
I've all ready backed up all of the projects so if something happens, nothing will be lost.

Re: Deleting Quicktime audio track
But I don't get it... I am confused if you do want the audio track or not (and for what purpose). Also, what version of DP are you using? i still don't want the quicktime audio from the .mov BUT the fact that i import it and can't see it bothers me enough to try to figure out why i can't see it, be...

Re: Deleting Quicktime audio track
i'm still getting a blank track when copying movie audio to sequence. i tried it with a brand new empty project, imported a .mov, and clicked on the "copy movie audio to sequence." i get a blank audio track, but i can hear the .mov audio when playback is started. i then copied the movie au...

Re: Deleting Quicktime audio track
thanks MIDI. i ended up just muting the whole thing through DP. The strange thing is when i tell DP to "copy movie audio to sequence," it copies the audio, but the file's waveform in the sequence editor shows nothing there. just a track that is blank.this happens even when the audio in un-...

Deleting Quicktime audio track
I have a quicktime .mov, and I have to get rid of the original audio that came with the .mov.
I know i can turn it down so that i do not hear it, but is there a way to completely get rid of the original audio track in DP? or is that something that has to be done within QT itself?
Thanks.
