Re: Switching all... or a large number of outputs at once
I think I figured something out. See how it plays out in the future.

Switching all... or a large number of outputs at once
I have been playing with some new I/O devices lately... tracking through them... monitoring... etc. I have found something very very annoying with my UAD. In order to track AND be able to control monitor volumes so you can hear the track you're recording, you have to monitor through the UAD Console....

Re: Wanting a solid control surface for DP 9.5
Resurrecting this old thread... Presonus now has a Public Beta for the Studiolive III series for HUI and MCU. I am watching this VERY closely. The idea of a 32 channel control surface AND Mic Pre/Converters for the price of just MCU controllers has me really anxious.

Kashmir - Led Zep Cover
I don't usually put this stuff out there, but it seemed like a good candidate for this forum. I wanted to see what the guitar and Bass modelers would/could sound like. I feel like no 'real' instruments were used in this tune. Drums are Superior Drummer... pretty much 'base kit'. Organ and Synth are ...

Re: Preferred Sample Rate for recording.
Thanks for looking that up. I did a search on the forum before posing my question to see if it had been discussed previously. I think I saw the WAV vs AIF thread, but didn't read through it not realizing it would cross over into sample rates.

Re: Preferred Sample Rate for recording.
Don't hate me, but as a fella who's been absent for a long time... and has a slew of 1224s that he's replacing... I'd like to see the post. Sounds like useful info to me that would make me feel better about finally spending a little $$$.

Re: Preferred Sample Rate for recording.
Thank you everyone for responding. I found it interesting, and not entirely what I was expecting. Several of you went fairly into depth and now I feel like I should supply an explanation. I am preparing to do a bit of semi serious recording again, and my 'studio' had fallen behind. It still works be...

Preferred Sample Rate for recording.
I completely forgot I used to belong and read through these forums until a recent search.
Anyway... on to business. With the the various Sample Rates... what do you prefer to track with? AND.... what are you primarily tracking?

Re: Movie/audio export problems
Thanks guys. I did something similar. Only used iMovie as I didn't have QT Pro available. I'm surprised it works this way and the trailer was only 1:44 and the file size was 53MB? If the Export was audio only with a reference to the original video, I would think that file size would have been much s...

Movie Trailer attempt
Pretty elementary really, but I'd love some feedback. I really didn't have any proper tools, I used DP 6, a couple of the built in virtual instruments, Superior Drummer 2, and a guitar. It's a first real attempt at this sort of thing. I'd like to do more, and I'd really like to get some proper strin...

Movie/audio export problems
New to the scoring aspect. I recently had the opportunity to score a short trailer. I can't remember ever referencing the manual THAT much. I finished, and exported to a Quicktime movie, and opted to duplicate the video and NOT simply reference the original file. However, the only system the file wi...

I don't have an answer, but was also curious if anyone knew of an ADR tool that works with DP.

Re: RESOLVED: Bounce to Disk audio issue
You guys are just trying to make me feel better aren't you? No... it was not zoom, but it was painfully obvious from that screenshot. (And was finally got me thinking) Going back to early DP bounce to disk... before there where a bunch of format options, DP bounced to two separate SDII files, a left...
