New MIDI driver 100712 has no routing display in Clockworks
I installed the latest MIDI interface driver, 100712, under Windows 7, 64 bit. When I start Clockworks, It recognizes my MTP AV, but it does not render a routing display. If I re-install the older driver I get a routing display. NVIDIA GEForce 9800 GT Windows 7 64 bit ASUS motherboard P6T Deluxe Any...

Re: Revisit 1394 controllers for Windows 7
Mike, Again, I thank you for the info. I read the thread and realized the supplied drivers I was trying to use were unibrain drivers. I uninstalled them completely, put the SIIG card back in, let Windows 7 install the driver it wanted, (a TI OHCI compliant driver), re-installed the MOTO drivers and ...

Re: Revisit 1394 controllers for Windows 7
Thanks for the info Mike. What happened was I had everything working fine with the SIIG card and then I updated to Windows 7. I got everything else working finally, but the SIIG card crapped out. I got the latest drivers which are supposed to be Windows 7 compatible, but I kept getting an error. I t...

Revisit 1394 controllers for Windows 7
My SIIG 1394 card is struggling with my new Windwos 7 installation. The motherboard 1394 is not an option either. What is anyone using on a PCI or PCIe bus for a controller under Windows 7? Please, let's not start yet another thread bashing MOTU hardware. my 828mk3 works great, it's my 1394 controll...

Re: MOTU 828mk3 v. Cakewalk "Rapture" plugin
Thanks for the advice Saxby86. It is looking more and more like a Sonar v. 64 bit problem. Sonar produces a mini dump file which I have sent to Cakewalk at their request and they are looking into it. I have since found that there is no crash with the 32 bit versions. There are other Sonar users with...

Re: Is a MOTU worth buying for a windows user??
Hi everyone, I am really looking into buying an 8pre or the 896mk3. My issue is that I am afraid it will not run smoothly on my computer. I have vista 64 bit and it seems that people are having a ton of problems with MOTU products on windows systems. So is it worth buying a MOTU interface or should...

Networking multiple MTP AV USB and Naming ports?
Hi all, New to this forum. I'm runnig Windows Vista 64 with 2 MTP's, and other vaious hardware. I have the 2.0.1 ROM in each MTP, and the latest drivers from the web site. I now have two MTP's and I would like them networked so I can connect ports on one MTP to the other one. I thought this was poss...
