Re: New Metagrid for iOS control of DAW....do me a favor
I've been using Metagrid all week with DP and I'm loving it. It's dead easy to customize scenes and views. The app specific command section makes it much quicker than lemur for programming buttons and the developer has promised CC faders in an upcoming update. I use a second Ipad for faders, so that...

$14.99 available now. It appears DP didn't make 1.0, although the developer stated that it would come in one of the first updates. In the meantime you could certainly create your own DP scenes.

They announced on Facebook that either the first release or the first update would include support for DP. All commands and some DP specific icons.bayswater wrote:How so? Re: Crash upon changing track in event list DP9
Ok, thanks. It must have been an anomaly then. Hopefully it won't happen again.

Re: Crash upon changing track in event list DP9
It was happening in a project where I wasn't using consolidated windows. It's working fine in a brand new project. Maybe it was something in a small template I was using. Thanks for the reply.

Crash upon changing track in event list DP9
Like the subject states, DP9 crashes every time I try to change the track in the event list. Anyone else having this experience?

Re: DP9 now shipping.
Any articulation switching workflow enhancements along the lines of Cubase's Expression Maps?

Thanks for the reply, but it's even reloading samples hosted in VEP on slaves.

Changing buffer size reloads samples??
I'm hoping there's a setting somewhere that I've missed as I'm still learning my way around DP.
Whenever I change buffer in Configure Audio Settings all my VI samples are reloaded. Depending on the project, this can be a major time suck. Does anyone know of a way to prevent this? Thanks.

Re: How do you handle articulations?
kdm- There is an app for Mac called Transmidifier that does much of what Expression Maps do for Cubase. You will still need separate tracks in DP for each of your Hollywood Strings articulations, but you can input into just one track. Transmidifier will take the output of the DP track and, depending...

Re: Catch previous MIDI events in playback
I'll add that these key switch notes are best on a separate track. They can make a mess of Quickscribe or other notation app. I have a couple of buttons on my iPad Lemur template for DP that are programmed to take care of this. One moves releases to nearest attack, and the other changes the keyswit...

I've been bitten by this as well. I was sure that my keyboard had developed a malfunctioning F#. Hasn't happened for a while, thankfully.
