You can't be too rich or too thin ... well maybe too anorexic ... but you definitely can't have too many MIDI ports. I love my MT Parallel I just bought another for backup. But wait! I came here for a queston of my own ... but saw yours. I got a used MTAVP Parallel as a $35.00 throw in at music equip 'garage sale.' Found the right cable at Frys, registered at MOTU and bought a manual for the USB model, downloaded the drivers and the Clockworks software and it has worked flawless...

I meant to more specifically ask about using the serial ADAT. What is it good for anymore? are there converters to change it to some more useful format or is it just a petrifying Do Do bird's egg?
