It sounds like InputOutput is suggesting in his post that we take the ADAT output from the 8pre and connect it to some device that will take ADAT in and give you 8 audio outputs. My question is... what device would that be?

Is there a device that would take that and give us 8 output jacks or connectors?

- We see there is no "direct out" for each of the 8-input channels on the 8pre's - We wanted to route each instrument or mic directly to the 8preinput jacks - So they went directly into the computer for recording with out any effects - We will add effects as necessary later - Then we wante...
