Re: Motu 828 mkII / 8 Pre macOS 10.15 Catalina 32-bit 64-bit
Thanks. Just jumped on Motu's website and saw that they specifically had an 828mkII firewire driver, I saw another post earlier that confused me because it referenced hybrids. Not super technical and some of this goes over my head. I saw that you wrote earlier : "My 828mkII is working fine ove...

Re: Motu 828 mkII / 8 Pre macOS 10.15 Catalina 32-bit 64-bit
Any updates on this? I'm about to buy the 16" MacBook Pro and am still running an 828 MKII FW. Trying to figure out if I need to budget for a new interface as well. Also, what specific driver were you all using to make the MKII work with Catalina? Thanks in advance for any insight you can offe...

Re: 828 MKII & MacBook Pro Are Not Communicating
Thank you for your response. I have done what you said, but still no dice. I actually got through to tech support today and they had me do the same thing you suggested, but it's still not working. Apparently I have a faulty unit. I read your response to the other post I started about the 828 crackli...

828 MKII Static and Cracking Noises
My 828mkII has been making a static/crackling noise for quite some time. The mic levels light up in the display of the unit when the noise happens, and I have turned the mic levels down to prevent the noise from coming through on my monitors. However, I cannot plug a mic into the mic ins and record ...

828 MKII & MacBook Pro Are Not Communicating
Forgive me as I don't have the time to keep digging through the posts and if this question has already been addressed. I just bought a brand new Mac Book Pro last week (have been on Windows since 2000, but moved on finally), and tried to install my Motu 828mkII so I can then install Cubase. There ha...

Re: Error trying to configure software for 828mkii firewire
Reeper,
Problem solved, the on board sound card that came with the computer was running in the task manager even though I had disabled the hardware for it.
I really appreciate your help, thank you very much.

Error trying to configure software for 828mkii firewire
Hello, I am running windows 2000, cubase sx2, and a motu 828mkII firewire version. For some time now, I have been unable to access the motu audio configuration application in windows. I get the following error: "The motu firewire audio can not be configured while audio is running. Close all aud...
