i used the MCU+XT in DP but it kinda sucks in there, like limping along.... then i switched to Nuendo and found out how nice the controller REALLY works. Motu needs to get on the driver for the Mackie in a bad way.

yeah i still have my other soundcard installed and been thinking about removing it all together if motu would work properly on this front. first thing i have seen that MAC handles better than XP.... ah well, small price to pay for the change.

Sigh, not again... Folks will use what they are comfortable with. Some prefer Windows. Some prefer OSX. Each has their reasons. Nothing earth shaking here. unfortunately that isnt a easy option. especially when you have ongoing projects in DP.... isnt easy to just pick up and leave. plus, i ...

But....it will never end - the constant march of new and faster computers. I actually love that Apple updates their stuff so frequently - compared to Microsoft who haven't done anything new with Windows in 6 years!! 6 years....that's literally a lifetime in computer years.. yeah, i love the fact i ...

try and go buy a FW drive easily now... the store here only carries USB2.0 now. FW has been relegated to terrabyte raid arrays most places i see carrying them.

seems like FW is on its way out.
