Re: Ultralite MK3 on a Laptop
The CueMix FX effects seemed pretty good. If I were you, I would buy it from a place you know for sure you can return it with no problems. Mine is actually going back tomorrow.

Re: Ultralite MK3 on a Laptop
It might be alright for some but that digital trim adjustment just seems weird to me. I am a guitar player, so of course I need to plug into the TRS input. I am use to using the instrument input of an analog preamp so this is way different. I suppose I could turn down my guitar volume knob to adjust...

Re: UltraLite Mk3 and CueMix FX Problems (other than squeals)
After talking to MOTU, it turns out their manual is wrong and the PAD switch is not usable for the TRS input of the combo jack. As for the gain/trim adjustment you can't go below 0. Even though it looks like you should be able to in Cuemix FX you just can't. If you need to get a lower gain for your ...

Re: UltraLite Mk3 and CueMix FX Problems (other than squeals)
I am in the same boat. My sales rep said MOTU would be giving me a call sometime today (I am not holding my breath). If they can't help me easily then it's going back ASAP. I still can't believe that you can't adjust the signal lower on the box. It's the things that they don't tell you I guess.

UltraLite Mk3 and CueMix FX Problems (other than squeals)
So... I have had my UltraLite for a few weeks (spent one week waiting on TI fw card) and am having some unusual problems. First off I'm using a brand new PC, this UltraLite MK3 is basically the first thing installed on it. I did everything the way I should have. I installed the software first then c...

Re: Ultralite Mk3 Squealing
I have been noticing the same thing with my UL MK3 on Vista 64 (2.5 ghz core 2 quad, 6 GB ram). I just ordered a TI chipset fire wire card and hopefully that will work. Has anyone else been having problems with Cuemix FX and the trim for the inputs? It seems to be fine at 0 db but if I trim it back ...
