can't agree more. Motu started doing a great job with driver implementation recently, and not having a change log kind of ruin the efforts.

MOTU Propaganda! in my book, when a company releases faulty drivers that have such a big issue of mistakenly routing the outputs, then something is wrong. they definitely fixed that with the new version, BUT : 1) it took months 2) their tech support still s*cks i guess that is why there are so many ...

i can confirm, works well in cubase 5. just hoping that there is no misrouting in the 1-8 individual out's or the SPDIF or even the ADAT ones. i am just using the IN's and the main Stereo OUT for now.

Nuendo 3 has ASIO routing fails. Main Outs are routed to SPDIF OUT. Not sure about that, every app I tried (except Nuendo3) Cubase, reaper, energyxt, forge, everything seems ok... Maybie there are leftovers of the previous driver version ? when you say "tried" you mean using the ASIO driv...

so people, is the buggy asio section that shifts the outs fixed now? can't wait to try it

i got recently a tech support answer for my enquiry regarding the latest drivers. they are aware of the issue. the real question is WHEN this will be fixed?

My advice is that you start reading some basic documentation my friend.. firewire handles the communication from the audio interface to the computer, and lets your daw software have access to the phisical input and output channels of your mk3, there is no such like firewire input and output!

chappy, i have the exact same configuration as yours (Quad core, P5Q Premium, Pyro PCI64 card, Cubase 5 FULL), my 828 MK3 works fine except the usual high pitched sounds, but it works with cubase. installing 1400 drivers version render cubase useless as it doesnt even complete the startup process......
