Ok, let me chime in here. I really thought the Masterworks Limiter and Compressors were unusable until I got a demo of them from Magic Dave at the last MacWorld show in Boston. He was getting some great results from them with no pumping or breathing. They are extremely fussy and very unforgiving. I ...

Roland Juno 106: need midman file
Hi All, Just wondering if anyone has been able to create .midnam file for the Juno 106 using either CherryPicker in OS X or Patchlist Manger in OS 9. I have a Juno 106 and I create and maintain patch libraries via Unisyn but I cannot seem to get my patches to show up in Digital Performer. Thanks for...

Re: Traveler S/PDIF clock source prob
Hi, A few of us have been having the same probem trying to connect the Line 6 POD Pro via S/PDIF. I've had the same problems you've been experiencing. I finally gave up and am connecting the POD via AES digital and using the Word Clock connector to sync them up. Is AES available on the Digitech? If ...

Re: Traveler and wordclock problems
Wow, I'm having the same issue with a Line 6 POD Pro and the S/PDIF input. I also tried the Word Clock connector and "no go".
I wonder if if could be something on the Line 6 end. The POD Pro offers AES out as well. Maybe I'll see if that produces better results.

Need .midnam file for Juno 106. anyone got one?
Hi Guys,
Ok, I'm finally getting the hang of Unisyn and am trying to get my Juno 106 patches which I have catalogued in Unisyn to show up in Digital Performer. It looks like I need to create a .midnam file for the Juno 106. Has anyone already done this?
Thanks,
- Thom

has anyone created a midnam for Kawai K5
Heya, Another crazy K5m user here. I've been able to get my patches/banks into Unisyn. Now I'm trying to create a midnam file in Library/Audio/MIDI Devices/MOTU so that Digital Performer will be able to pull up a patch list with my current sounds in it. I'm not having any luck here. Has anyone been ...

Digital Performer not finding newly created Unisyn patch
hey Guys, Thanks for all your help getting me started with Unisyn. I've been able to get all of the patches from my synths into Unisyn. Digital Performer isn't finding these patches however. If I pull up a patch list in the tracks window, I always get the factory default list. The Unisyn manual seem...

need help getting started
Hi All, I'm setting up Unisyn (2.11 running on OS 10.3.7) and I could really use some help getting started. I'm using a MOTU micro express MIDI interface with a Juno 106, Roland D-50, Alesis S4+, POD Pro and Alesis DM5. So far the Juno is the only one that was able to communicate with Unisyn. I get ...
