I am sending my unit back next week, the mk3 is a joke - and I really loved my mk2. . I filed 8 issues within the first day and only 1 is resolved so far. Don't they test the stuff at all?

When I enter a DVD my system gets inresponsive for a few seconds (I have SATA plextor drive). I think it's a common problem, but some systems are far worse than others. If I'm listening to audio on (my built in soundcard) audioquality even starts to degrade and sometimes break up during this period....

If i press the page knob the display says 828 bootloader, but the update software still doesn't find the mk3.

MOTU just informed me that this is a known issue that will be fixed in a future driverupdate. Quite a few updates now... My mk3 is almost useless at is is know and I really wished they had tested it better before releasing it to customers

I know there is a firewirefix for xp, and it's not included in the servicepacks or windowsupdate. Maybe you had applied it on your old installation? You can, but I couldnt connect them to the main out volumem knob on the front. I tried but it didn't work so I posted a techlink supportquestion about it at motu.com. Just setup you routing to go to 1-2 instead of mains out, and then select 1-2 in cuefx as mains.
