Ram going bad?

Usually these types of problems are ram related.

Does DP have a "constrain latency delay" button? I use to be a DP user then switched to Cubase, but I'm looking to switch back. Cubase has a button that you can hit when tracking MIDI that enables you to hear everything in real time. So if it's compensating for delay at say 1024 when you h...

I've had this happen twice. I don't know if this will help because it was on an entirely different setup than what you have. For me it was definitely an overloaded plugin. Sonnox compressor and EQ and PSP vintage warmer to be precise. Unloading the plugin and saving the file under a different name w...

Large projects--Orchestral scoring

What's the ram limit of DP these days? Are you able to load more than 2 gigs in a project?

Is there any word on a DP 64bit upgrade?

Sounds good bro! Thanks.

My decision to jump back on the DP bandwagon is looking sweeter.

Well to be honest it's been a while since I've been a DP user and I'm only now considering getting back. I had forgotten that you could set the start time individually for each chunk. The only thing that use to piss me off about chunks is that I couldn't transfer my template from chunk to chunk with...

Unless you're dealing with MIDI only and all your vi's and instruments are out board, dealing with chunks for film scoring is not recommended imo. When scoring to picture in and out points for music are really critical. So doing it all in one sequence may work but it also may affect your judgement a...

Yeah I'd go with an SSL master bus compressor over the master bus, and use a completely transparent limiter just to prevent clipping on tracks that need to be slammin'. Also good to use is the Oxford Inflator but it does color the overall mix a bit too much for my taste. I think the LA2A might be go...

You just play three notes in the span of one beat. Where's the difficulty? I think they all handle them in the same way. Perhaps I'm not fully understanding you.

At all the new features looked amazing in DP6. The Leveller sounded incredible! If it is as stable as it looked like in Frankfurt I will definatly upgrade! Too bad I did not see any improvements for the drumeditor when you wanna play triplets. Also in the MIDI section it is awful to work with tripl...

Thank you.

I was under the impression that a Soundbite was a separate audio file. I guess I'm mistaken? It's been a while.

Thanks for the answers. I'm going to jump back on the DP bandwagon.

best,

José
