Re: CoreAudio driver for Mac OS X 10.4 Traveler MKii
I got the Traveler unit from the friend of a friend; after confirming that the Traveler's fire wire port was not responsive, I returned the unit and got a refund. I thought about disassembling and attempting to repair it, but knew I wouldn't feel right about returning the unit once I'd torn it apart...

Re: CoreAudio driver for Mac OS X 10.4 Traveler MKii
The drivers are there as they should be. I reset the PRAM a few times, and set the traveler to factory defaults as you directed. Eventually, I installed a firewire external hard-drive which was recognized by both of my computers just fine; now I know my firewire port and cable are okay and can focus...

Re: CoreAudio driver for Mac OS X 10.4 Traveler MKii
I understand, thanks-the MOTU website is more reliable than I've been thinking. I have some things to rule out.

Re: CoreAudio driver for Mac OS X 10.4 Traveler MKii
My wife looked through the drivers and didn't see anything like a MOTU coreaudio file, but we don't know what the file's name would be. "Does it show up in Apple's Audio MIDI Setup? Does it show up in MOTU Audio Setup?" No, neither one. We run our own business making mugs with logos(my wif...

Re: CoreAudio driver for Mac OS X 10.4 Traveler MKii
I have loaded the sets of drivers you've specified, checked and double-checked, loaded them on two different computers to ensure I don't have a problem with an individual computer. They're both Mac OS X 10.4.11. I still am missing the Core Audio driver and so the Mac can't recognize the Traveler. I ...

Re: CoreAudio driver for Mac OS X 10.4 Traveler MKii
I am beginning to think the CoreAudio driver is not included in the set of drivers on the MOTU website but is only on the CD which comes with the interface. After loading drivers, there is nothing in the location where the CoreAudio driver should be.

Re: CoreAudio driver for Mac OS X 10.4 Traveler MKii
When I load the MOTU drivers(I've tried everything that seemed even close), everything is where it should be except the coreaudio driver. I think if I had the traveler coreaudio driver, I'd be good to go. I am beginning a conversation with MOTU tech support and hopefully will get up and running soon...

CoreAudio driver for Mac OS X 10.4 Traveler MKii
I bought a Traveler MKii recently; the seller didn't have the CD which shipped with the unit(I believe this to be true). Where do I find the coreaudio driver to go along with the following: File Name: MOTU_Audio_Installer-Mac-100915.zip MOTU Universal Audio Install for Mac OS X 10.4 Use this install...

Re: Microbook IIc with DP 5 and Mac OSX?
Thanks Mike, between your responses and my mac guru wife, I'm good now. Taking a chance on an older interface is better than scrapping everything else at present.

Re: Microbook IIc with DP 5 and Mac OSX?
Why, if you have a G4, wouldn't you run a FireWire interface? Thanks for your replies; you've been kind to answer. I haven't been keeping up with this technology after investing in DP5 several years ago and this is why I am here, seeking information and hopefully not buying something which won't wo...

Re: Microbook IIc with DP 5 and Mac OSX?
Thanks for the reply; I am not on an Intel Mac and running OS 10.4.1. I am hoping not to upgrade both computer and software. Is there an older interface I might search out? Thanks,

Microbook IIc with DP 5 and Mac OSX?
Hi, I am considering purchasing a Microbook IIc interface to address latency issues, otherwise things are working well running DP 5 with Mac OSX. I noticed this is USB 2.0 instead of the older USB on my computer. This should work just fine, yes? If not, is there an older model interface I might sear...

Latency with Digital Performer 5
Hello from northwest Georgia, USA I am running Mac OSX 10.4.6 with a dual 533 MHz Power PC G4. 768 MB SDRAM/Digital Performer 5. I was formerly using a slower Mac with the audio built-in, and haven't experienced latency until now. I am using a Behringer U-Control UCA202. When I record, the playback ...
