Re: Quicktime crash when moving to 2nd monitor
I just recently started having this problem again. It hasn't reared its ugly head in quite some time. I'm using DP 7.22 and have 3 monitors on 2 dual DVI cards. IT doesn't matter which monitor I try and drag the movie to, it crashes as soon as it is fully into the new monitor. Tried converting the m...

thanks
Good to know I'm not totally crazy. Seems like a huge oversight, that is not typical of MOTU...lately. My only other option is going with the Ensemble I thought of getting originally. OR getting a Volume know like the Mackie Big Knob. I hope that update comes soon.

828 mkIII independent volume control.
I just upgraded from a 2408 mkIII to an 828mkIII. On my 2408 there was a Phones Volume and Main Out Volume similar to on the 828. But on the 2408, I could easily raise and attenuate the Volume of each independently with ease. So for instance, I could turn my main speakers all the way down and still ...

Default Audio Output glitch?
I am having trouble routing audio to the correct default output on my 2408 mkIII on Mac OS 10.4.9. I am using a 2408 mkIII with 2 sets of speakers attached; outputs 1-2 go to a pair of Mackie 626s. Outputs 3-8 go to a Blue Sky 5.1 system. I switched the default output of the 2408 in the system prefe...

On the subject of speakers. I would not try and flush out your mackie speaker system as it will be very expensive. Try instead the $1000 setup from Blue Sky. I have mackie 626s and was really wanting to do a mackie suround setup, but the Blue Sky is incredible. IT translates very well to every syste...

Soundbite audition not working
This happens from time to time, and it's driving me crazy. Typically when I hilight a soundbite in the soundbite menu, I hear the sound playback automatically. For some reason this is not happening. Similarly, when I double click and hilight a section of audio in the sequence window, the sound also ...
