Re: DP Control & DP 7.24 not working since installing DP8
My DP Control is working with DP 8.0 but the stop button no longer works in rewind mode and the record button sometimes works/sometimes doesn't.

Re: How many people here find DP 8.01 to be crash-prone?
I'm getting at least one crash per session on Mac Pro. Just had one today while cutting and pasting in Sequence window. Others while working with transport. This is troubling as 7.23 was very stable for me. Have updated my 424 drivers but crashes still occurring. No other cards other than video card.

Is old XP click/pop issue resolved with Win7 or Win8
Hi all. Getting ready to move up to Win7 or Win 8. I haven't been following the latest discussion but am hoping against hope that the issue is resolved. Has Win7 or Win8 eliminated the bad firewire driver issue we faced with XP SP2 and SP3? Can we now use latest win and MOtu drivers under Win 7 and ...

Has it been fixed with update 7.01? Ronan in MOTU Tech Support assures me it has been corrected.James Steele wrote:I expect that will require a fix in an upcoming DP update.twistedtom wrote:The EZdrummer drag and drop is not fixed.

Re: I run flawless Motu setup what about you?
For folks running firewire devices, no amount of research and configuring helps when the drivers may be flawed. We have HD192 running a Mac Pro in room A - no problems from the getgo. Our 896HD on Windows XP SP3 platform (update from SP1) in room B was a complete clusterf__k until we reverted to SP1...

Re: FIX: Running Motu FW devices in XP SP2, SP3
More words of praise for TheRealRoach. We have finally successfully defeated the dreaded pops, clicks, stutters, and other trash we have been experiencing with XP SP3 drivers and the newer Motu drivers on our 896HD. Thank you many many times over. Will we ever be able to use up to date Motu drivers?...

Re: 6.02 - first thoughts
DP 6.01 and 6.02 simply crash randomly when playing back only a modest number of audio tracks (10 or less) with only EZ Drummer as an open instrument and no sends or inserts used. Mostly occurs while jumping back to start point and restarting quickly. Could be an EZ Drummer disconnect. There seems t...

Re: 6.02 - first thoughts If it ain;t broke don't fix it
I'm sure this is the best place to post this but - I used Tiger with DP 5 with no crashes for two years (Mac Pro 4 core). Recently upgraded to Leopard and DP 6 and have been having periodic crashes of DP (not the computer). Lost 2 hours of a recording session today. I'm honestly thinking about going...

Re: EZ drummer Drag and Drop issue
I also have this problem in DP 6.02 but not in DP 6.01.
Also, has anyone else lost EZ Drummer (mono)as option in list of available instrument tracks. I used to have both stereo and mono option in DP5.0. Only stereo in DP6.
