Re: Audio Editor for Mac that can auto-truncate?
Hi, For precise batch editing to trim silence based on a threshold, consider using Audacity or Adobe Audition. Both tools should meet your needs for trimming silence efficiently and accurately. Re: Record to multiple MIDI channels at once
DP defaults to OMNI mode, in that it ignores the device & channel and just records any MIDI input to the currently record-enabled track. Go to the STUDIO pulldown menu, choose Multi-Record. Now you'll see that you can configure the input for each MIDI track, and you can record enable any or all ...

It would be interesting if it was possible to "throw" edges the way you can soundbites.

Re: Clean Power for Live?
My keyboard's chassis is all metal except for the end cheeks. But nonetheless, I'm not going to lift ground, it's there for a reason. But the Humno or Hum-x seem like a reasonable option to safely remove ground loop. Some Furman's show this feature: "AC Protection TechnologyExtreme Voltage Shut...

Re: Clean Power for Live?
What "hum eliminator" did you try? I tried two, actually, this cheapo Pyle one cause a pretty significant drop in level: https://www.amazon.com/Compact-Mini-Hum-Eliminator-Box/dp/B00BARTW42/ The bass player has an Ebtech version (looks similar to the Morley one), which also had a level dr...

Clean Power for Live?
My Kurzweil K2661 sampler/workstation has a 60 Hz (ground?) buzz/hum at one particular venue. I thought I'd request some recommendations from the brilliant minds here. Lifting ground on the DI didn't help. We used a "hum eliminator" (1:1 isolation transformer) which seemed to work, but wei...

Re: iZotope's Website
I see that Native Instruments URL when I log in. But I enter my credentials manually and have no issues.
When I logged into Izotope earlier today, I noticed that the log-in page & graphics are identical to NI's.

Re: DP Gripes, and things that have (almost) pushed me to Cubase
I finally did get a response from MOTU support that they are able to replicate the consecutive note issue, and are working on a fix.
(While I was there, I requested that they make grid lines visible through soundbites during edit maneuvers).

I had no trouble signing in just now. I wonder if there was a rush of logins after they announced their summer sale.

Re: In Sequence, how to extend gridlines through a live instrument
But I’m wondering, what is the musical reason? If you need to have the transients perfectly aligned with the tempo points, beat editing will do it. If you just want to see how far off the beat it, zooming and placing the cursor at the transient will tell you exactly where it is to the millisecond. ...

Ah. I see it now. Just get's rid of that thick bar on top, bring the waveform closer to the edge. Got it.

Re: Chunks Window Insanity
The song also has a conductor track, so I wonder how it deals with conflicts. Or is it display only, and shows the conductor contents of the topmost sequence?

Re: Humanize not working on soundbites
I'm seeing the same thing here. No matter what I do, it's greyed out.
Is it possible this is a MIDI-only feature?
Seems like it would be useful to randomize onset & even the bite-gain (with ability to set the range to something safe).

Re: In Sequence, how to extend gridlines through a live instrument
.. if you turn off the Soundbite Color bar, the beat lines, and tempo missmatch bars extent to the top and bottom of the soundbite. I don't know what that means "turn off the Soundbite Color bar". .. move the track to the top of the Sequence Editor, it is quite apparent how the lines in t...
