Hello all. I write to you in utter hair-pulling frustration and desparation. When I originally installed DP5.0, the software would not accept my keycode. I eventually fixed this by installing the program from different admin account on the machine. Well, I was running into some weird CPU performance...

Anyone know if a crossgrade to DP5 right now would qualify me for a free upgrade to DP6 when it comes out? When you crossgrade, do you get to retain your original software as well?

Interesting tidbit.... I asked my audio professor (who has been a DP beta tester for years) if he was going to be upgrading our lab to DP6 and he hadn't even heard about the update and claims that there isn't even any news about it on the beta testers' forum.... If he has access to the beta testers...

I'm not using DP. I'm using Cubase 4 and am on a PC. I tried installing a new firewire card to no avail. Pops and clicks all over the place. Buffer settings have no effect. Going on 8 months now with no solution to this problem and the software is unusable. Getting rather frustrated and discouraged....
